We represent the interests of the grain storage industry. We strive to be open and objectives with and recognition of our members.

Kristi Block
Executive Vice President

I grew up on a family farm where my family grows corn, soybeans and cattle in “central” Nebraska near the Gothenburg/Cozad area. I obtained my undergraduate degree in agricultural advertising and public relations and a master’s degree in business administration. I interned briefly for the Nebraska Wheat Board and then worked in event management, apartment sales and management and as a communications associate on early childhood legislative work. In brief, I’ve worked in a variety of industries and hope to bring my customer service and communication skills to the board.

Maggie Kramer
Administrative Assistant

Hi, I'm Maggie Kramer, the new Administrative Assistant in the Office. My family and I moved to Lincoln 10 years ago from Kansas. My husband, Kevin, and I have two children. Nick is recently married, and Lizzy is a sophomore in high school.  I was raised as a "city" kid, but I married into a "farm" family.  I have experience working for non-profit organizations.  I look forward to helping Kristi refresh and renew the office and the way that we interact with the membership.  Since Nebraska Grain and Feed Association is preparing to celebrate 125 years, I'd like to see what we can do to get ready for a grand celebration.

I will be handling the coordination of and registration for the Association’s programs, curating information for our annually printed directory (Contact me if you need to update your information!), distributing the Association’s grain buying/selling/storage forms that have been approved by the Public Service Commission, and serving as a point of contact for any questions that you have for the office.

Karnee Hatch
Digital Media Intern

I am the new digital media intern here at NeGFA. I recently moved to Lincoln to start my freshman year majoring in Animal Science at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Go Huskers!

I am originally from Brady, Nebraska. I grew up on L&M Cattle Co. - a small ranch that is owned and operated by my family. During high school, I was heavily involved in 4-H, National Honor Society, the American Angus Association, Speech and countless other activities. Through all of these organizations, I developed a passion for agriculture and the people that are involved in each aspect of the industry.

I am so excited to work with everyone, and I can’t wait to start using my skills to the best of my ability to keep everyone connected and informed about everything that goes on with the Nebraska Grain and Feed Association. If you have any questions, comments, or accomplishments that you would like to share in the association's bi-weekly newsletter, the Grist, please contact me by email at or call 402-476-6174.
