Working on behalf of our members, the Nebraska Grain and Feed Association (NEGFA) staff do our best to provide members with information, hands-on experiences and training, and tools to grow the profitability of their businesses. Utilize NEGFA staff to answer many of your policy or regulatory questions you don’t have time to research that impact your business.

The Association represents the interests of the commercial grain storage and commercial feed industry. 

Kristi grew up on a family farm growing corn, soybeans and raising cattle in “central” Nebraska near the Gothenburg/Cozad area. She obtained her undergraduate degree in agricultural advertising and public relations and a master’s degree in business administration. Kristi interned briefly for the Nebraska Wheat Board and then worked in event management, apartment sales and management, and as a communications associate on early childhood legislative work. Kristi has worked in a variety of industries, bringing her customer service and communication skills to the Association.

Laura Dwyer handles the coordination of and registration of the Association’s programs. Laura updates industry information on our website and in our printed directory. She also manages the NeGFA grain dealer and warehouse contracts, forms, grain grading materials, and other publications sold in the NEGFA Store. Laura has been working for nonprofit organizations for over five years, she previously held administrative positions as the Senior Director of Operations for the Hastings Family YMCA, the Facility Manager for St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, and most recently as a Senior Director of Programs at the Omaha YMCA.  Her family has a small ranch near Bartlett, Nebraska. Laura and her husband, a pilot, currently reside in the Omaha area.
