York, NE, August 4, 2017: The Nebraska Grain and Feed Association is hosting its 42nd Annual Summer Convention on August 4, 2017 at the York Country Club in York, Nebraska. The association invites those working in the grain and feed industry to a day filled with information and fun.
A morning program will consist of presentations from Dr. Wes Peterson, University of Nebraska–Lincoln Agricultural Economics Professor discussing economic sanctions as a foreign policy tool, a message from Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles and a federal policy update from John Heck, Chairman of the National Grain and Feed Association's Board of Directors and Senior Vice President at The Scoular Company.
The morning program will be followed by the annual golf scramble starting at noon. Teams will play an 18-hole shotgun start or can gather inside the club house to play some cards and visit with colleagues until the evening award ceremony and dinner. A $25 discount is available for individuals who register to attend before July 21.
