Board Nominations Needed
NEGFA Needs Your Help Identifying LeadersThe Association needs your help finding nominees for three Board of Director positions. These positions will begin July 1 and end in three years on June 30. Please send your Board of Director Candidate Sheet to the Association office by March 1. The candidate sheet will help the Association staff develop a bio for the ballot. This information will also be used to help members get to know the Board Director Candidates through a feature article in the Spring Conveyance Magazine.
A Board Ballot will be sent to voting members of the association in May. Our new or returning Board Directors will be revealed July 1 through social media/email and you can meet your new or returning board directors at our Annual Summer Meeting and Convention on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Our future success depends on your involvement. Identifying and recruiting well-qualified future leaders is critical to ensuring the NEGFA remains a strong, member-led association. Not only do we benefit from dedicated and enthusiastic leaders, but serving on the board provides a professional benefit of real-world leadership training. It is a great opportunity for you to build your leadership and communications skills while expanding your professional network!
