WORKSHOP SCHEDULE NEW NGF WORKSHOPS ANNOUNCED Listed below are several important upcoming workshops and events you and your employees should be interested in. Also, watch for details on these and other popular grain and feed workshops in the near future. Some of the yet to be scheduled workshops include the Comprehensive Two-Day Workshop On Basic Hedging And Merchandising, several half day Merchandising Short Courses conducted by our cooperating merchandising companies, a workshop on Managing Mycotoxins and a Grain Quality Workshop focusing on proper commercial and on farm storage techniques.
JUST ANNOUNCED! NEBRASKA GRAIN & FEED ASSOCIATION (NGF) & NEDAK ETHANOL TO CO-HOST CORN GRADING WORKSHOPS! July 27, 2010 Two Sessions Offered! 8:30 AM — 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM — 2:00 PM
NEDAK Administrative Building, 87590 Hillcrest Road, or About 1 Mile East of Atkinson, Nebraska on Highway 20 Presenting USDA Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) Training Personnel The Nebraska Grain and Feed Association (NGF) and NEDAK Ethanol are proud to co-host the first Corn Grain Grading Sessions of 2010, on July 27, at the NEDAK Administrative building, Atkinson, Nebraska. Area NGF members are encouraged to attend. Registration costs for the grading session is $65 for members or $95 for non-members. For your convenience and to keep the training on a more personal level, two sessions will be offered. Registration includes course materials and a copy of the 2010 Official US Standards for Grain Booklet. Headlining the corn grading presentation will be Jim Whalen with the USDA, Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS). Anyone who has attended a course on grain grading with Jim comes away with an excellent understanding of the grading procedures and areas associated with damaged grain. This is also the first time in many years we have had an event in the Atkinson - O’ Neill area, and special hotel rates at the Sandhills Guesthouse are available. Download the registration form here.
